Our League will be sending a team of delegates to our state League's biennial convention in Dallas this April. Attending a League convention is an energizing experience that provides opportunities to meet League members from all parts of Texas, participate in well-planned workshops on all aspects of the League's work, and vote on state League leadership, budget, and program priorities for the coming two years. This year, our League will be a headliner - presenting our original reader's theater production, Press On, My Sisters: The ERA Then & Now, to all those present.
If you are interested in attending as one of our League's delegates, please contact League President Janis Richardon (president@lwvsouthcentraltx.org or text/phone @ 361-772-3228). We would love to have a full delegation in Dallas - so if this is calling to you, please don't hesitate to be in touch!
